The President has addressed the crisis of 'climate change' while speaking at the World Food Forum in Rome.

Michael D Higgins has praised young people for their efforts to tackle climate change - and their awareness of the dangers it brings.

He says climate change - and our response to it - is a 'core theme' of his Presidency.
