The Government is being urged to intervene in a pay dispute involving thousands of health and social care workers.

They've threatened to take indefinite strike action from the 17th of October unless their pay is brought to a level where it is comparable to the public sector.

The Labour Party says the failure of government to engage with community workers is a dereliction of duty.

Party spokesperson on Health Duncan Smith says the Government has made no effort to end the dispute.
