Gardaí attended the scene of a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo yesterday evening, Sunday 23rd July 2023 at approximately 8.30pm.

The male pedestrian (20s) was taken to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries.

The collision occurred on the R294 route. 

Investigations are ongoing at this time.
