The government has clashed over spending on health.

Spending Minister Paschal Donohoe has strongly cautioned Health Minister Stephen Donnelly that a potential 2-billion euro cost overrun marks an 'unprecedented level of financial risk' for the State.

Today's Business Post quotes letters obtained under the Freedom of Information act.

Minister Donnelly has also requested an additional 6.3 billion euro in capital funding between next year and 2028.
