Sligo University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today.

There are 38 patients on trolleys today at the Sligo based hospital.

The latest figures from the INMO also shows there are 27 patients trolleys at University Hospital Galway, 24 at Mayo University Hospital and five patients on trolleys at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
