A body has been found in the search for a missing man on Achill Island in Co. Mayo.

The alarm had been raised after 18 year old Sebastian Palma Sigmond failed to return from a walk on Friday.

He had been holidaying with his family.

A major search operation, including the Coastguard, RNLI and Gardaí, was launched - however, it was stood down following the discovery of a body in the Slievemore area of the island yesterday evening.
