The Linenhall, Castlebar Summer Camp programme has been revealed while the centre’s new visual arts exhibition with Connaught artists was launched this weekend.

The summer camps aimed at 8-16 year olds include percussion, circus and gaming workshops combined with an artistic slant.

While, “Forhalla” is the new foyer exhibition in the Linenhall . It encompasses the works of Connaught based artists at all career stages, working in painting, print and photography. It will run until September and is a celebration of Ireland’s artists coming together again after the pandemic.

The final event of the Linhall’s summer season is a concert of poetry and music by American poet and spoken word artist Kim Rosen who also hosts a sold out workshop to coincide with the event.

Spaces for the concert are still available.
