A specially designed commemorative plaque will be unveiled on Sunday next (July 16th) at the former Music School of the Sisters of Charity in Foxford.

Sr Mary Roche, a native of Foxford and a member of the  Irish Sisters of Charity will unveil the plaque after 11am Mass on Sunday in St Michael's Church, Foxford.

Parish Priest Fr Padraic Costello will bless the proceedings.

The Music School was founded by Sr Morrogh Bernard (1842-1932), who also founded the Providence Woollen Mills in 1892, and the Convent in Foxford in1925.

All are invited to attend.
