
The streets of Ballina will again resonate with the sights and sounds of years gone by, on Heritage Day, next week, Wednesday July 12 – it’s one of the annual highlights of the Ballina Salmon Festival.
Heritage Day in Ballina is described as “a day to wander and enjoy”.
It includes live entertainment throughout the day and into the night in the town’s music quarter and over 60 traditional craft workshops.
Derek Leonard is a member of Ballina Heritage Day Committee and he’s been telling Midwest News editor Teresa O’Malley more about the big day, that’s set to attract the largest crowd ever, as the town celebrates its 300th anniversary ….
