Psychedelic drugs may be used to treat mental health disorders in the future.
A conference at Trinity College Dublin will today hear how psychedelics have shown promising results for mental health conditions in clinical trials.
This includes the use of MDMA, also known as ecstasy, in the care of a person with post traumatic stress disorder.
It comes as Australia became the first country in the world to legalise the use of psychedelics for the treatment of certain psychological conditions.
