The victims of car break-ins outside the Church of Ireland Church at Turlough Castlebar on Saturday evening are understandably distraught, according to Castlebar councillor Michael Kilcoyne.
He is calling for the necessary garda resources to be made available to fully investigate the crime and to apprehend the culprits.
As a service was underway in memory of those who died during the Covid 19 pandemic two vehicles parked outside the Church were broken into.
When members of the congregation returned to their cars, they discovered that their vehicles had been ransacked after being broken into.
