€142,848 of funding has been allocated to Mayo parks, walking trails and outdoor amenities.
That’s according to Mayo Deputy Michael Ring, who confirmed the allocation this morning.
The investment comes as part of a strategic partnership between the Department of Rural and Community Development and Coillte.
14 different groups have received a cut of the funding ranging from €2,304 to just under €35,000.
Groups in Glenamoy and Barraglanna have been allocated €34,560 each.
