Dr Labhrás O’Murchú will officially open the Connacht and Community Fleadh in the Ballina Arts Centre this evening at 7:30pm.
The Fleadh, which has an extensive programme of events, will bring great excitement to the town of Ballina for their 300th anniversary celebrations.
A Fleadh mass will take place on Sunday where former Eurovision winner Dana will perform along with local Comhaltas musicians.
Eamonn Walsh is the PRO of the Connacht Fleadh.
