Gardaí are investigating an incident of endangerment and alleged assault which occurred in Castlebar, Co. Mayo yesterday, 29th June 2023.

The incident occurred at approximately 4.45pm.

A man (50s) was later arrested.

Members of the Armed Support Unit attended the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
