In honour of their Mayo mother, Elaine Tolan (nee Neary), who bravely battled Motor Neuron Disease (MND) until her death last December, James and Oisín Tolan are running from Dublin to Mayo, to make a difference to the lives of those affected by the devastating illness.

James and Oisin are departing from Carpenterstown, Dublin today (Tues) and will run 220km to Foxford. Their Mom was a native of Foxford, as is their Dad -  Pearse.
Every stride taken on VOYAGE4ELAINE will echo Elaine's bravery, as she fought against MND for eight years. They also want to shine a light on the disease and provide assistance to anyone facing the challenges of living with the disease.

All donations from the mammoth run will be divided between the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) and St Francis Hospice in Dublin.

The brothers are due in Foxford on Friday and have already gathered 22,000 euro for the causes.
James and Oisin intend to push themselves to their limits in memory of their mother and are reminding everyone that small contributions can bring about significant change.

Donations can be made at idonate  - VOYAGE4ELAINE
