Superintendent Paudi O’Shea said the increased seizures were a testament to the new drug detection strategy introduced by Chief Supt Roche following his appointment.
Councillor Reddington says the gardai need to be complimented on the success rate in detection over recent months, but he insists a more targeted approach is required to focus on drug dealing on snapchat for teenagers.
