There's a warning conditions for the spread of Potato Blight will develop over the next few days.

Met Éireann has issued a nationwide blight advisory from tonight until Sunday morning.

Blight is a destructive fungal disease of potatoes resulting in dry brown rot of the tubers.

The Great Famine was caused by blight, but nowadays, farmers have spraying options to fight the disease.
