Anyone planning a visit to Keem beach in Achill today is advised that the road to the beach is closed today for improvement works.

Mayo County Council has advised that road surface dressing works will take place on the R-319 access road to Keem beach today ( Thursday, June 22).

The road is temporarily closed, with local access accommodated, and delays are expected.
