The funeral will take place at the weekend of the pedestrian who died following a road collision in Bonniconlon on Saturday morning last.

The man who died, who was aged in his forties, has been named as Radley Searle, of 8 Oakwood Drive, Ballina, and formerly of Carrick-on-Shannon

The collision between an articulated lorry and the pedestrian occurred at 7.40am at Knockroe, Bonniconlon.

The injured man was and removed from the scene to Mayo University Hospital, where he died later that day.

He is survived by children Alvin & Fionn, his partner Anne Kilbane, and parents Radley & Maria.

Mr Searle’s remains will be reposing at his residence this Saturday evening from 5pm to 7pm

His funeral will arrive to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Sunday at 12.30pm for committal service.
