Galway based, Green Senator Pauline O’Reilly, is putting herself forward for selection for the European Elections in this constituency – that’s the Midlands North West region.

Senator O’Reilly was elected to the Seanad in 2020, and was elected Chair of the Green Party last year.

The need for a stronger stance on climate action  and human rights issues at EU level are among the reasons why she intends to seek a seat, in what is likely to be a five- seater constituency next year.
