
A film documentary will be launched later this month to mark the 60th anniversary of the visit of John F. Kennedy to Galway.
According to RTÉ, the film will be showcased at the museum in Galway City.
It will also be shown at the Kennedy Museum in Cape Cod and Galway City Museum this summer.
The film details stories of those people who were part of the experience on June 29 1963.
Just five months after his visit, JFK was assassinated in November 1963.
The documentary is directed by Galway woman Pam Finn, and the title is JFK: The Three Miles.’
