The two staff members that were injured after a tree fell on a marquee at Mount Falcon Resort yesterday afternoon have been discharged from hospital with no injuries.

Emergency teams, including ambulances and fire brigades rushed to the scene yesterday following the incident that occurred around 1:00PM.

A spokesperson for the luxury Mount Falcon resort told Midwest News that the hotel will open as normal to residents again today and their bookings will not be affected.

However, their live dinner show that was due to take place this evening has been cancelled, and will return for next weekend’s show.

Mount Falcon are in the process of contacting in the region of 180 people who have booked for tonight’s show to arrange an alternative to their cancellation.
