Gardai are investigating an act of vandalism at a county Galway handball club in recent days.

Williamstown Handball Club has posted pictures on its Facebook page of significant damage to its big alley, including the back wall, forcing the alleys at the club to close until further notice.

The club has appealed to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity  to make contact with any committee member or the gardai.
