A protest is taking place in Dublin around now - in solidarity with the people of Sudan.

It's getting underway with a march from O'Connell Street - to show that Irish people care about what's happening there.

In recent days, a family has arrived in Ballindine after fleeing the war torn country.

Catherine and John's daughter Cathy, and her husband Rami along with their children Loughlin and Liam arrived safely to the family home in Ballindine.
