Staff moral is at an all time low among Gardaí with many disillusioned at the lack of support they receive.

Members of the Garda Representative Association are gathering in Westport, Co Mayo this morning for the second day of their annual conference.

Retaining staff, morale and assaults on Gardaí will all be discussed at the gathering.
