Sacred Heart School,Westport, was raised in the Dail last week.

Mayo Fine Gael TD Michael Ring says a new school building was announced for the second level school almost two years ago, but that construction on the school has yet to begin.

The deputy was told that the school is in its design phase and should begin construction in the near future.
