The body representing rank and file gardaí wants to know what oversight mechanisms are in place for GSOC.

It's describing the allegation that a GSOC officer attended a party with Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch on Monday as "very serious".

It happened hours after Mr. Hutch was found NOT GUILTY of the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in Dublin in February 2016.
