There are 515 people waiting for beds in Irish hospitals today, according to this morning’s INMO trolley watch figures.

University Hospital Limerick are top of the list with 84 people waiting for beds.

University Hospital Galway has 41 waiting in third place, behind Cork University Hospital who have 54.

Elsewhere across the region Sligo University Hospital have 27 waiting, 24 at Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar, while there are 19 at Portiuncla Hospital in Galway.

In total, there are 111 waiting on beds in the region, just over 20% of the national tally.
