Another year of delayed Leaving Cert results will put an intolerable strain on students and their families, according to the Union of Students Ireland.

It has been reported that results will be delayed again this year for the fourth year in a row.

Delayed results means that students won't know if they have received a college place until September, meaning many will be left unable to access accommodation.

Clodagh McGivern is the Vice President for academic affairs at the USI.
