A Status Yellow Wind Warning has been issued by Met Éireann for County Mayo.

This will come into effect from 1:00AM tonight until 5:00PM tomorrow (Wednesday April 11).

Very strong west to northwest winds will develop with gusts of 90-110km/h expected.

Mayo County Council have asked the public to please exercise caution.
