Hundreds of young people from all over Ireland are getting an opportunity to voice their opinions on issues that are important to them.

It's part of the bi-annual Comhairle na nÓg National Showcase event at Croke Park.

Comhairle na nÓg are youth councils that allow young people to have the opportunity to engage with decision makers and influence key policy at a local and national level.

Ruth Cunningham from Roscommon Comhairle na nÓG says everyone in Cohmairle is listened to a lot;
