
Minister of State at the Department of Transport Jack Chambers is in County Mayo today for a number of engagements.
He paid a visit to the RSA Offices this morning before meeting with local Fianna Fail Councillors and members.
Minister Chambers then visited Ireland West Airport Knock and has welcomed the new Aer Lingus route to London Heathrow which he says will provide greater connectivity for people across the region.
he concluded his visit this evening by attending Castlebar Tennis Club and taking a trip to Lough Lannagh Leisure Centre in Castlebar.
Today's visit comes on the back of a 65 million euro announcement for National Roads funding in Mayo.
