Ireland West Airport Knock is hoping to remove the ban on liquids over 100 millilitres in carry-on luggage later this year.

Other regional airports have already seen their security waiting times drop following the installation of new state-of-the-art screening machines.

The MD of Ireland West Airport in Knock, Joe Gilmore, says they're hoping to update their systems in 2023.
