Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a three-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 2:30pm yesterday, on the N5 at Swinford, Co Mayo.

Two of the drivers, a male in his 40s and a female in her 20s, were conveyed to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The road involved in this collision, which had been closed, has since reopened.
