A man and a woman are to appear before the courts in Mayo charged in connection to a seizure of drugs and cash.

130,000 euro worth of narcotics and over 17,000 euro in cash were seized in the Cross and Kilmaine areas on Saturday, with the two people - both aged in their 20s - arrested.

They've since been charged and are due before a sitting of Ballina District Court later this morning.
