Met Eireann is warning that temperatures will drop significantly from Sunday, after a dry and settled start to the Easter weekend.

Good Friday will be dry with widespread sunshine and temperatures 12- 15 degrees.

Saturday will be another dry day with good spells of sunshine, but a cold front will move in during Easter Sunday, with wintry showers and night-time temperatures set to drop below zero.

Met Eireann forecaster Matthew Martin told Paula Donnellan / Midwest News that a big change in weather conditions can be expected from Sunday.....
