A wind warning has been issued for Mayo, Galway and Donegal.

The Status Yellow alert comes into effect at 1pm this afternoon and is set to last until 6pm this evening.

Met Eireann's advising that gusts of up to 100km/h are expected.

Onshore winds will also bring a risk of wave overtopping.
