520 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed this evening, with one additional death from the virus.

The new cases include 15 in Galway, less than 5 in each of counties Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo with no new cases recorded in Leitrim.

The 14-day incidence rate of the virus is now at 157 per 100,000 people - Roscommon is just below the national average at 156.5, while all other Connacht counties are below that level.

Mayo's 14-day incidence rate is now 65 per 100,000 people.
