Ireland recorded the highest level of consumers who shopped locally in 2020, according to a new EU survey.

95 percent of people here shopped in our locality, a figure that was the highest in the European Union.

According to latest CSO figures around two-thirds of people are staying within 10 kilometres of their homes.
