The Tánaiste says he didn't do anything illegal or corrupt when he leaked a confidential GP document.

Sinn Fein is calling on Leo Varadkar to resign after he passed the file onto a friend two years ago.

Mary Lou McDonald has asked to meet with Micheál Martin about the leak which is now subject to a garda investigation.

A spokesperson for the Taoiseach says he's no intention of doing this.

Leo Varadkar says the document wasn't a cabinet secret or classified and says the gardai haven't been in touch with him yet.
