There are 646 new cases of Covid-19 and 10 additional deaths.

243 of the cases are in Dublin, with 80 in Kildare, 45 in Meath, 35 in Galway, 34 in Offaly and the remaining 209 cases are spread across 20 other counties.

Elsewhere, in this region there are 14 new cases in Mayo, nine in Roscommon with less than five in both Sligo and Leitrim.

344 Covid patients are in hospital, which includes 87 in intensive care.

The 14-day incidence rate has dropped to 159 per 100,000 people.
