The work of community groups around Mayo in helping to keep our planet green will be highlighted over the coming days, with a series of short videos being released on social media.

Mayo Public Participation Network in collaboration with the Climate Action office in Mayo County Council will highlight the work of seven community groups, and how they've addressed climate change and biodiversity in their local communities.

The groups featured include the Balla community, the River Moy Trust, Ballina Green Town, Mulranny Green Plan, Tourmakeady Community, Bangor Erris Hall and Bertra Climate Action Group.

The series of short videos, showing how these community groups are tackling climate change and biodiversity, will be released between now and next Tuesday 16th March on social media, and on the Mayo PPN and Mayo County Council websites.
