Design consultants have been appointed for the planning of a Digital Creative Hub in Ballaghadereen.

The Digital Creative Hub will be built at the Fairgreen, and will work with creative enterprise start-ups and develop existing creative businesses, using and developing digital technologies.

It will also provide a permanent base for the Family Resource Centre.

This is part of the regeneration of Ballaghadereen town centre, and will lead to a total investment in the town of about €3 million.

The project is being funded mainly through the Rural Regeneration Development Fund.
