A school in Roscommon has been approved for funding under the Additional Accommodation Scheme 2021.

Carrick National School, Ballinlough will see their facilities expanded upon with classroom en-suite toilets, wheelchair accessibility, special educational teacher rooms, along with prefab rental for two years.

Fianna Fail Senator Eugene Murphy told Midwest News that this is a major development at the school.
