Minister McEntee says government will provide a detailed plan next week of when everyone can expect to receive the Covid 19 vaccination.

Minister McEntee says that the rollout of the vaccine programme is now progressing well, with 45,000 people vaccinated last week, 80,000 vaccines were distributed this week and that will rise to 110,000 next week.

The Minister for Justice has been speaking to Midwest News today about the completion this week of the surveying work in the rollout of the National Broadband Plan in both Ballina and Castlebar, and she says the first homes/ premises in the county can expect to be connected to the new high speed fibre broadband before the end of this year.

She says despite the Covid restrictions the National Broadband Plan is progressing and up to 40,000 homes and businesses in Mayo are set to be provided with enhanced connectivity, once the necessary infrastructure is in place
