The Central Criminal Court has heard that a young Mayo man who killed his mother is likely to have nowhere to go if he's released from prison anytime soon.

In 2014, Celyn Eadon, was handed a life sentence for murdering her at their home at Islandeady in Castlebar, but he won an appeal against his conviction.
