10 further deaths from Covid-19 have been reported this evening, with an additional 1,062 new cases of the virus.

This includes 30 new cases in Mayo and 58 in Galway.

1,436 people are currently in hospital with the disease and 207 are in ICUs.

The 14 day incidence rate is now 479 cases per 100,000 people.

Mayo's 14-day rate is higher - at 552 per 100,000.
