Destination West Mayo is an initiative supported by West Mayo councillors to ensure that when the pandemic is over, tourism and business will be restored to areas from Louisburgh through to Belmullet.

Westport based Independent cllr Christy Hyland proposed the idea at this week’s monthly meeting of the West Mayo Municipal District and he says it was backed by elected councillors and approved by council management.
