Gardaí stopped a man driving a vehicle in the Ballytivnan area of the town yesterday evening.
Two packages containing white powder believed to be cocaine were located, subject to analysis, with an estimated value of €4000.
Gardaí subsequently, under warrant, conducted a follow up search on an apartment under warrant.
A further amount of illegal drugs were located, thought to be cocaine, with estimated value of €2000, again subject to analysis.
