HSE Community Healthcare West is notifying the public today that it is experiencing unprecedented demand for COVID-19 tests at the Galway, Mayo and Roscommon test sites.

If you receive notice of a test and are unable to attend, you are asked please to advise the HSE immediately.

While they have extended the opening hours, due to the very high demand, they say,  it may not be always possible to offer a test at the site nearest to you.

The public are advised to follow all public health guidelines at this time
